Out Of The Saddle

Episode 7.

Due to strict UCI contract laws and regulations the waffle that Chuck and I were talking about at the beginning of this podcast had to be removed from the final cut. So its sad to say that Chuck has missed his golden opportunity to ride with team Sky and have a crack at the Yellow Jumper in Paris. Have a listen and you will get what I'm talking about.

However...we did have a very good yarn to Sir Bradley Wiggins about some highlights in his career and the steady progression from track super star to road super star.

Very insightful and if you take special notice you will hear how detailed and exact he is with dates and races and results from years ago. True perfectionist.

Episode 6.

When we were first trying to introduce this guy I was struggling for the correct words to accurately portrait how iconic in the sport of cycling he is. So please forgive my stumbling and hesitations in the beginning. But as we progress it becomes a fascinating chat to the "Voice of Cycling".

Please enjoy.

Episode 5.

This was a great chat with one of the young guns on the USA Cycling Team headed to Bergen, Norway to compete in the UCI World Cycling Champs. All 270km of it. Alex Howes.

We chat a bit about his up and down season this year and the main reason he sees as why he gets the big results.(other than hard work).

We even take a deep dive into his past profession as a professional WWE Wrestler. His special mask he wore and his stage name.

All in all....good fun. Hope you all enjoy.

Episode 4.

Today we catch up with a dear friend who just so happens to be the best Cycling Photographer in his 40yrs of snapping Cyclists.

He is a very laid back person and is enjoying the fruits of his labour and its really interesting how he adapted to the changes in Photography along the way.

Graham Watson has 1000 stories and we could have chatted all day but please have a listen and enjoy.

Episode 3.

We were lucky enough to quickly grab Koen de Kort while he was travelling on the team bus back to his hotel after a hard fast stage of La Vuelta Espana.

We discuss the difference from guiding a Sprint captain vs General Classification captain.

Episode 2.

Have a listen as we chat with Tony Gallopin. In my opinion one of the greatest all round riders I have had the pleasure to race alongside.

We chat about his chances at World Champs and his move from Lotto-Soudal to AG2R for the 2018 season.

Episode 1.

In todays Podcast we chat a little about my retirement from Professional Cycling.

"20yrs in 20mins"

We touch on the World Road Cycling Championships but don't delve too deep into this discussion just yet.

Its more a chat on the reasons for retirement and then the next one we do we have some fantastic news to announce and we will also have a chat about the Vuelta Espana that's going on right now and finally we will take a deep dive into predictions for the World Champs in Bergen Norway. Who is going to get to wear those Rainbows for the year of 2018.

I hope you enjoy the Chinwag and look forward to hearing what you have to say.

Cheers

Coach Hendy
